Our Staff
Garden Dance Inc. is a nonprofit organization with one ultimate purpose: to tell stories rooted in Biblical truth and bursting with the hope of Jesus. We will do this in two ways, first through our Dance Productions and secondly through our technique Classes.

Rachel Pugliese
Assistant and Substitute Teacher
Rachel Pugliese is a versatile dance instructor with a rich background in dance, mental health counseling, and fitness. With years of training in ballet (Vaganova and ABT method), modern (Graham and Horton), jazz, hip hop, and tap, Rachel concluded her dance training by earning her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Jacksonville University. Rachel has also participated in summer intensives at prestigious institutions such as Alvin Ailey Dance Theater and Burklyn Ballet Theater, further enhancing her diverse dance experience. She began teaching dance at a young age, starting with children’s classes and continuing to work with students of all ages in both group and private settings.
Rachel recently obtained her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary to become a trauma-focused therapist for military personnel, first responders, and their families. Her commitment to well-being and teaching extends to her role as a certified group fitness instructor where she currently leads high-intensity interval training classes at OrangeTheory Fitness.
Rachel’s teaching philosophy combines her passion for movement with her understanding of emotional well-being and her joy for the Lord. She believes in building strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity, self-expression, and holistic growth. Her goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where students can thrive as both dancers and individuals. She believes that dance is a beautiful gift from God that should be enjoyed and expressed for the glory of the Lord.
