Style
Day
Ballet A
- Students aged to 5 years will be given introductory instruction in ballet technique through terminology, stretch and strengthening, basic barre, and across the floor movements, utilizing engaging and age appropriate rhymes and music. It will be rooted in the Cecchetti method. No choreography will be performed out of this class as its sole purpose is to, year-round, ensure the foundation of the students’ ballet technique. Parents will be invited into class at the end of each season for presentation day.
- Female students should have their hair in a bun, no jewelry or watches, wear pink tights, pink leotard, pink skirt and pink ballet shoes.
- Male students should wear black dance pants, black t-shirt and canvas ballet shoes.
- Students should be brought to class every week to ensure their growth. If a student is absolutely unable to attend, they must inform the studio by text, email or phone call.
- Tuition: $60 Monthly
Ballet B
- Students ages 6-7 will be given instruction in ballet technique through terminology, stretch and strengthening, barre, across the floor and center combinations, utilizing engaging and age appropriate music and rhymes. It will be rooted in the Cecchetti method. No choreography will be performed out of this class as its sole purpose is to, year-round, ensure the foundation of the students’ ballet technique. Ballet C
- Students ages 8-9 will be given instruction in ballet technique through terminology, barre, across the floor and center combinations. It will be rooted in the Cecchetti method. No choreography will be performed out of this class as its sole purpose is to, year-round, ensure the foundation of the students’ ballet technique. Parents will be invited into class at the end of each season for presentation day.
- Female students should have their hair in a bun, no jewelry or watches, wear pink tights, blue leotard, blue skirt and pink canvas ballet shoes.
- Male students should wear black dance pants, black t-shirt and canvas ballet shoes.
- Students should be brought to class every week to ensure their growth. If a student is absolutely unable to attend, they must inform the studio.
- Tuition: $75 Monthly
Contemporary A
- Students ages 8 and older will be given instruction in contemporary dance. This will be a combination of modern dance inspired by the method of Martha Graham, the fluidity of lyrical dance and many of the turns and leaps found in jazz. No choreography will be performed out of this group as its sole purpose is to, year-round, ensure the students’ contemporary technique. Parents will be invited into class at the end of each season for presentation day!
- Female students should have their hair in a bun or ponytail, no jewelry or watches, wear black dance or athletic leggings, nude foot Undeez or lyrical shoes or have bare feet, leotard of choice with black tank top over if they prefer.
- Male students should wear black dance pants and a black t-shirt, and be barefooted.
- Students should be brought to class every week to ensure their growth. If a student is absolutely unable to attend, they must inform the studio.
- Tuition: $60 Monthly
Pre-Pointe
- Ballet class focused on conditioning and preparing dancers 9+ who wish to go up en pointe in the future.
- All students must be currently enrolled in Ballet C or higher at Garden to enroll. Students will be assigned conditioning homework every week based on “The Perfect Pointe Book.” Every dancer must purchase prior to class and bring every session.
- Note: this class is supplementary to ballet, it does not meet the ballet requirement for Productions.
- Tuition: $45 Monthly
Broadway Jazz (9+)
- Broadway Jazz for students 9+.
- Leaning on the fundamentals of traditional jazz dance and adding the flair and storytelling of Broadway, this class will be an exciting challenge for our students.
- This class meets the secondary requirement for Production participation.
- Tuition: $60 Monthly
Pointe 1
- Pointe class for students with director approval who have completed at least 1 year of pre-pointe and are currently enrolled in Ballet 1 or higher.
- Note: this class is supplementary to ballet and does not satisfy the ballet requirement for Production. Students must wear standard ballet attire.
- Tuition: $45 Monthly
Ballet 3
- Students will be given instruction in ballet technique in all of its traditional elements: terminology, barre, center, across the floor and combinations. It will primarily pull from the Cecchetti method.
- No choreography will be performed out of this group as its sole purpose is to, year-round, ensure the students’ ballet technique. Parents will be invited into class at the end of each season for presentation day.
- For students 14 or older with director approval. Experience required.
- Tuition: $75 Monthly
Contemporary C
- Contemporary dance class for students 14 or older rooted in the theory of Martha Graham, incorporating the fluidity and storytelling of lyrical and leaps and turns from jazz.
- Female students must wear pink tights and black dance shorts OR black leggings, black leotard, a black tank top/t-shirt can be worn over if preferred – barefoot/foot Undeez/lyrical shoes as preferred.
- Tuition: $75 Monthly
Adult Ballet
Traditional ballet class for adults – no experience required. No performance aspect included. Female students must wear tights/leggings, canvas ballet shoes, black leotard, and skirt of choice.
- Tuition: $75 Monthly
Ballet 1
- 10 and up – no experience required
- Students should have their hair in a bun, no jewelry or watches, wear pink tights, black leotard, skirt of choice and canvas ballet shoes.

- 10 and up with placement.
- 2 years ballet experience required (pointe dancers with Director Approval only)
- Students should have their hair in a bun, no jewelry or watches, wear pink tights, black leotard, skirt of choice and canvas ballet shoes.
- Students will be given instruction in ballet technique in all of its traditional elements: terminology, barre, center, across the floor and combinations. It will primarily pull from the Cecchetti method. No choreography will be performed out of this group as its sole purpose is to, year-round, ensure the students’ ballet technique. Parents will be invited into class at the end of each season for presentation day!

- Students will be given instruction in contemporary dance.
